Glenn E. Dornfeld, Esq., is a mediator, mediation trainer and attorney with a non-adversarial legal practice consisting almost exclusively of mediated cases. Most of his cases are family and divorce mediations, and he provides related legal services to those clients, which services include drafting agreements, QDRO's and deeds, drafting and filing uncontested divorce papers, and the like.
Mr. Dornfeld practices mediation and teaches new and recently-trained mediators through the Center for Family and Divorce Mediation in Manhattan, and does his legal work as a solo practitioner.
Glenn is Immediate Past President of the Family and Divorce Mediation Council of Greater New York [FDMCGNY] -- having been President for almost 5 years beforehand -- and has served on the Board of Directors of the New York State Council on Divorce Mediation [NYSCDM] for four years. Glenn is head of NYSCDM's Ethics Committee, and serves on FDMCGNY's Continuing Education Committee. He has also served on NYSCDM's Conference Committee for four Annual Conferences, including his intensive service as Conference Chair for the 2001 Annual Conference in Albany, and has been named President-Elect of NYSCDM.
Glenn graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Sociology from Princeton, and received his law degree from the New York University School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in New York State and New Jersey, and is a 'member in good standing' of both bars.
